Trial Types

This version of Trial Maker supports 3 types of trial types, Days, Date and Executions.

The Days trial type limits the use of the program from it's initial execution point for a set number of days. A common settings for this is 30 days, allowing the user to try the application from 30 days of it's first execution.

The Date trial type sets a date in the future that the trial will work until. This type of trial is commonly used to expire beta or alpha builds of the software that can be in testing for a long period of time.

The Executions trial type sets a maximum number of times the application can be executed. For example setting the executions type to 10 will only allow the trial application to be launched 10 times, but those 10 times could be throughout an entire year, or in a single day.
